Bigger AND Better!

MAREN Construction’s Uncommonly Refreshing Approach to Their New HQ

At MAREN Construction, we’ve brought our building principles and mission to life in our new headquarters in Atlanta. From the vibrant mural by local artist Emma Gilbert to the spacious, collaborative layout, our new office reflects who we are and our commitment to smart growth.

“Creating this space was an intentional move for our company as it sets the tone for the kind of culture we want to create,” said Andy Weber, President of MAREN Construction. “We wanted to provide our employees with a space where they could be productive but also proud. We wanted our clients to walk in and feel welcome and immersed in a space that is uniquely ours.”

The new office at 1776 Peachtree is a significant upgrade, both in size and amenities. It epitomizes our approach to building and design, prioritizing cost-efficiency, functionality, and sustainability. By using existing layouts where possible and creatively addressing challenges, we crafted a space that meets our high standards.

When an existing conference room proved to be too small, we removed a solid wall and replaced it with a semi-private custom room divider designed and crafted by Assistant Superintendent Ryan Bass. Using his finished carpentry skills, Ryan repurposed leftover Armstrong Ceiling Solutions wood ceiling slats to create a unique divider wall, featuring a repurposed whiteboard on one side and MAREN’s logo mark on the other.

“Our office is a reflection of what’s possible when you use creativity and ingenuity to build a space,” said Hank Maxwell, MAREN’s Business Development leader. “We wanted our space to reflect our unique brand in a cost-effective and sustainable manner, showcasing possibilities for our potential clients.”

Aesthetics and the message our office conveys were essential from the start. Emma Gilbert’s welcoming mural, featuring MAREN’s core values “Seek the Unknown,” “Love What You Do,” “Be Open,” and “Look Out for Others” on a backdrop of green, blue and black shapes, represents an energizing wave of momentum.

“We knew we wanted people to immediately understand who we are and how we work,” shares Elliot Hunt, who oversees project operations at MAREN. “Emma captured that perfectly with her mural, setting the tone for our office and company culture.”

As a 2024 Pacesetter Award winner from the Atlanta Business Journal, ranking #5 on the top 100 list of Atlanta’s fastest-growing privately held companies, our new headquarters marks the next phase in our growth. This space serves as a launching pad for our continued success and innovation in the industry.

We look forward to blazing a new path in construction from our new home in Atlanta. Check out more of our office pics here.
